NAIROBI, Kenya, July 24 – Kenya Airways has confirmed that of one of its aircraft was involved in a ground incident last evening at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The airline says the incident involved the aircraft and a tow truck during the push back from the bay damaging part of its fuselage and engine.
“The aircraft, a B-737-800 was expected to operate flight KQ764 to Johannesburg,” said Kenya Airways in a statement.
No injuries were reported but the flight was canceled to allow for further investigations while passengers were accommodated on other flights.
