#BattleofTheBrands: Hisense Vs Samsung

NAIROBI, Kenya, June 21 – Between November 2016 and April 2017, Samsung and Hisense TVs have seen an erosion in consumer interest going by data generated from e-commerce platforms in Kenya.

The brands are losing out to newer and cheaper models, though they remain the top two most popular brands. The total value of Samsung TVs listed in April 2017 is at Sh24.3 million representing 19.2 percent, a drop of 60percent in six months. Hisense accounted fo 11.8 percent with Sh14.9 million of TV online listings.
