Airtel launches ‘Tubonge’ voice product to simplify life

Nairobi, Kenya, Mar 28th – Airtel Kenya has launched a voice product aimed at adding more value and call time to customers. 

The new offer dubbed “Tubonge”, targets Kenyans from all walks of life who rely on making calls as their preferred mode of communication.

There are 3 Tubonge offers; a daily offer for Sh10, a weekly offer for Sh50 and a monthly offer that goes for Sh150. All Tubonge offers come with 100mins for Airtel to Airtel calls per day and a 2 shillings calling rate to any other network.

To opt in on the new offer, customers get to dial *544# and choose the first option which gives them the various categories for daily, weekly or monthly offers. For instance, for Tubonge 10, dial *544*10#

Speaking at the launch event, Airtel Kenya CEO, Prasanta Das Sarma stated that Tubonge is aimed at making the lives of the local Wananchi easier as it offers affordability and convenience.

“Our customers remain at the core of our business and as such we are delighted to be launching a product that will, in essence, make their lives simple by giving them value for money while meeting all their communication needs. We endeavor to keep giving our customers the very best products and services that will positively impact their lives. ”

“We will continue to heavily invest in the Kenyan market and ensure that our customers enjoy affordable and innovative products and services,” he added.
