Construction of longest heated crude oil pipeline begins in Uganda

Construction of a crude oil export pipeline from Uganda’s western district of Hoima to the Tanga Port in Tanzania has begun.

The pipeline estimated to cost almost 4 billion dollars would be 24 inches in diameter and will cover a distance of over 1400km making it the longest heated crude oil pipeline. CGTN’s Michael Baleke has that report.
