The Hardee’s restaurant mainly known for its burgers, will be located in Terminal 1A at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
“The burger restaurant will however be operated by franchisee, Suzan General Trading/Afro American Food Company,” CKE President, Ned Lyerly said.
The new market entry follows launches in two other countries – Japan and Australia – earlier this year.
“We’ve been experiencing tremendous momentum since the start of the year and we are excited to continue this fast-paced growth with the opening of our first Hardee’s restaurant in Kenya,” Lyerly added.
Apart from JKIA, the company plans to open another 10 restaurants in the country over the next seven years.
