Vacancy: Regional HR Business Partner


Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Nairobi
Salary: 280 – 320k
Our client is a multinational firm involved in the manufacture of FMCG products. They are looking to
fill the position of a Regional HR Business Partner to Work closely with the Country Manager and
Senior Management team to identify the current and future needs of the business and design
Human Resource and the Organizational Development strategies, plans, and interventions to ensure
the department is equipped to achieve them.
Duties and Responsibilities
 Act as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
 Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the client’s side
 Manages HR Projects cross-functionally
 Build a strong business relationship with the internal client
 Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to cover risks
 Recruit and develop personally the key talents for the internal client
 Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees
 Drive and facilitate an effective performance management regime in the department.
 Create and maintain a high performance culture to improve organizational capability and the
caliber of individuals.
 Work with the senior management team to identify opportunities for productivity
improvements, via review of organizational structures, streamlining of business processes,
continuous improvement, and performance management.
 Participate and implement succession plans for key talents and key job positions
 Work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the
 Head up the operational function within the HR team
 Provide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of strategic and
operational human Resources issues
 Advice, managers and staff on issues of employment legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a business related degree
 Diploma in HRM
 5 – 7 years HR generalist experience with at least 3 years in a management position
 Good working experience of HR software system is a must
 Demonstrable commercial awareness
 Be an accredited member of Institute of Human Management (IHRM)
 Possess thorough and practical understanding and application of Kenya labour laws
