NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 14 – Kenya’s fast-growing online cars market place, cheki.co.ke is set to host a major car bazaar on July 18 at Carnivore Grounds.
The online company, which currently connects over 20,000 car buyers and sellers every month, is seeking to extend its value offering by organizing a face-to-face meet up with an aim of connecting buyers and sellers and educating them about the motor industry.
Participants will have opportunities to get professional counsel on buying, selling, financing and maintenance of vehicles from Auto experts as well as other event sponsors.
According to Wambura Kimunyu, Regional General Manager, Cheki East Africa, Cheki is about creating spaces where car buyers and car sellers meet and do business.
“We’ve done a great job of it online, making more than 15,000 cars available for sale to over 400,000 users every month. Now we’d like to give our customers a chance to experience Cheki offline,” she said.
“We are holding this event to educate our customers and expose them to an array of car purchase options alongside information that would enable them to make great decisions in regard to selling, purchasing, maintenance & maintaining cars because this is what Cheki is about,” added Wambura.
Dubbed Cheki Sato, the event targets over 1,000 vehicles that have been carefully selected and vetted through Cheki’s curated price guide which determines the market rate for any car make and model within the Kenyan market. This will ensure not only the best quality at market competitive prices.
