NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 1 – Bharti Airtel, on Monday gifted its Premier customers born in 1963 as Kenya celebrates Madaraka Day, the day that the country attained internal self-rule, preceding full independence from the United Kingdom on December 12 the same year.

The gifting is aimed at appreciating top Premier customers who have been on the network for over 10 years.

Each of the selected customers received a gift hamper with a Premier branded power bank, Airtel Premier VISA card and a Premier catalogue.

In a statement, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said that the gifting is one of the ways that the company is extending its gratitude to Premier customers who have been loyal to the brand. “This will go a long way in ensuring that customers feel appreciated for being loyal to our brand and products. This is our true Airtel spirit and our Kenyan spirit.” said El Youssefi.

The Airtel premier club is an exclusive club to Airtel pre-paid and post-paid diamond and platinum customers. It is an exclusive package that offers and meets the needs of those looking for an individually tailored service.
