NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 11 – Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications services provider with over 300 million customers across operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa has announced that Kenyans can begin to pre-register for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest advancements in iPhone history.

The iPhone, which will soon be available in selected Airtel shops across the country, is said to have faster download and upload speeds than any other smartphone so users can experience the best internet experience in Kenya.

With Airtel’s fastest and latest 3G network, iPhone 6 users will experience faster download and upload speeds for browsing the web, streaming music, making video calls, and more.

In a statement, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said, “At Airtel, we’re all about helping our customers get their hands on the latest devices. Our decision to stock the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus speaks to this quest to meet our customer needs and we remain confident that our world-class network will provide a seamless customer experience on this latest incarnation of the iPhone.”

Airtel will offer the 16GB iPhone 6 at Sh85,999 and the 64 GB iPhone 6 at Sh95,999. The 16GB iPhone 6 Plus will be available for Sh95,999 and the 64GB iPhone 6 Plus at Sh105,999.

Leading up to the launch date, customers can register their interest in purchasing a device by pre-ordering at the following Airtel shops: Parkside shop, Sarit Centre shop, Koinange shop, Moi Avenue shop, Thika Road Mall (TRM) Express Plus shop, Mombasa Moi Avenue shop, Nyali shop, Galleria, Lavington, Village Market, Nyeri shop and Eldoret Shop.
