With regular transmission resuming after the World Cup and Commonwealth games, local TV shows have regained their top position. There have been new entrants at the top 10 including #KTNbottomline and #thebigquestion. #TheTrend dropped from the top position which it had held for some time, probably due to the introduction of an earlier show and a change of the hashtag.
The dating show #Tujuane had the most traction on Twitter between 3rd and 9th August. It is worth noting that news shows are becoming more interactive which could explain four out of the top 10 shows on Twitter are news/topical shows.
