, Tracy also urged the Kenyan government to provide an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and create ease of doing business pointing out low taxation and fewer regulations as the major obstacles of doing business in Kenya.

“Let’s take an example of Singapore, they have low taxation and low regulations… they have more prosperity with no natural resources than any other entity in the history of the world,” he said.

He urged the government to remove the barriers and obstacles of doing business that include easing business registration details.

“Kenyans are ambitious, entrepreneurial, and eager to prosper. If barriers and obstacles are removed entrepreneurship in the country will grow like grass grows after the rains,” he said.

He said the countries with most taxes and regulations are the poorest countries.

“With high taxes and many regulations people cannot start a business, they have no heart, and it’s too difficult. Interestingly when Kenyan business people go the United States they are very successful because they don’t have to fight with regulations and taxes all the time,” he said.
