WATCH: Ever wondered how powerful the sun really is?

Our sun is made up of primarily: 71% hydrogen and 21.7% helium.  Videographers recreated that exact recipe in a studio to create a miniature sun.

What do you get when you light hydrogen and helium filled balloon on fire with 24 cameras watching?

Incredible footage of a miniature sun.

The amount of energy these little balls of fire emit is microscopic compared to the real sun.  But this video serves as a reminder to the important question: How can we capture that energy?
