Capital FM grabs 3 nominations at the OLX SOMA Awards


Capital FM has received 3 nominations at the OLX Social Media Awards (SOMA) which seeks to honor those who have contributed significantly to the growth of Social Media in Kenya.

In the Digital channel award, Capital FM will face tough competition from the likes of Citizen TV Kenya, Buni TV, NTV Kenya and KTN Kenya. In the radio show category, two Capital FM’s flagship programmes have been nominated: Hits Not Homework and The Jam 98.4 which will both battle for the coveted prize against Goteana Show (Ghetto FM), Homerun(Easy FM) and Gmoneyizme (Homeboyz Radio).

Winners of the awards will be announced during a gala dinner ceremony that will be held on August 9th, 2013 at Laico Regency Hotel, Nairobi.

During the month of June 2013, the fans nominated their favorite social media properties as per the outlined categories. A panel of judges shortlisted the nominated properties. Fans can cast their votes on the OLX Social Media Awards website:
