NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 5 – Airtel Kenya has announced the launch of Airtel Premier Club, a new exclusive service where select pre-paid, post-paid diamond and platinum customers will have special, distinctive priority access to the network, call centre and all the Airtel shops across the country.

Speaking at the launch, Airtel Kenya managing director, Shivan Bhargava said: “We are delighted to offer an exclusive premier package that will further delight our customers looking for tailor made and personalised service. This value adding proposition is a showcase of our commitment to deliver innovative and relevant solutions to our customers.”

From this moment on, Airtel Premier Club members will experience personalised services such as credit facilities, the Zawadi rewards programme, an exclusive website, free SIM replacement and priority services.

He further mentioned, for club members roaming in different countries, one network will be a convenient roaming solution as it is designed to fit the Pan-African and Middle East customer’s communication needs.

One network profile allows customers to communicate at local rates, receive calls for free and recharge partner airtime vouchers when they travel to at least 17 countries in Africa.

Bhargava expressed the firm’s appreciation to its customers for the enormous support and also promised more innovative products and services in future so as to achieve its vision of being the most loved brand by 2015 enriching the lives of millions of Kenyans.

Bharti Airtel Limited has operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, the company ranks amongst the top four mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers.

Bharti Airtel had over 269 million customers across its operations at the end of March 2013.
