The ‘You Win Awards’ initiative will be an annual event that will identify and celebrate youth entrepreneurs aged between 18-35 years making great strides in business.
“It will be an auspicious event where the lucky winners and runners up in the different categories will be awarded .The categories set are; fastest growing business, ICT, most innovative business, environment sustainability, scalability and social-economic impact.”
There will also be special categories for youth with disability and junior entrepreneur (aged below 18years).
This initiative is set to encourage youths to set up enterprises and become employers.
The programme will also seek to develop a database that documents the business enterprises and ventures that the youth in Kenya have set up countrywide.
