KCB, MultiChoice pen partnership

NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 24 – Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) customers can now enjoy discounted prices on all MultiChoice Kenya products by signing up during the festive season offer.

The offer applies to KCB Advantage and Credit Card customers, who can now make repayments spanning up to 12 months for the Single View decoder and repayments for up to 24 months for the HD decoder.

MultiChoice Kenya General Manager, Danny Mucira says they partnered with KCB to ensure customers access their convenient payment platforms.

“We are taking away a key barrier in utilising the product which is the decoder so it’s an exciting first for us and something we look forward to seeing how it picks up in the market,” he said.

KCB Director Marketing and Communication, Angela Mwirigi, hailed the partnership as a win-win situation for consumers who will get to access quality entertainment facilitated by a trusted financial brand.

“KCB targets to increase card usage at point of sale; currently about 1,500 customers pay for their DSTV services via KCB Cards and this promotion is aimed at increasing this to at least 3,000 over the promotion period,” she added.

She urged customers of the largest financial institution in the region in terms of branch network and asset base; to take advantage of the special and exclusive discounts offered by DStv.

Other Multichoice products included in the offer are GOtv digital terrestrial (DTT) decoders, DStv & GOtv mobile devices such as Walka 3.5, Walka 7, i-drifta, drifta wi-fi and drifta USB.
