NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 8 – Kenyan supplier of tyres and motor vehicle wheels services, AutoXpress, has opened a Sh20 million state-of-the-art fitment centre on Lusaka Road, in the heart of Nairobi’s Industrial area.

Branded as Dunlop Zone AutoXpress, it is a 5,000 sq ft facility to offer a precision driven retail experience.

Dunlop Zone is the official title of all accredited Dunlop dealerships.

“The Dunlop Zone concept is much more than a tyre fitment centre. It follows international trends offering customers a five star shopping experience – a combination of plush and trendy interiors and performance-driven products and services. The focus is on an improved buying experience through professional service and added value to the purchase,” said Sandeep Shah, the Managing Director of AutoXpress Limited.

He said the purpose of the Dunlop Zone is to create a modern, performance-related environment that matches the high performance image of Dunlop Tyres while satisfying the requirements of a growing and ever more sophisticated clientele that is expecting world class quality right here in Kenya.

He said through the Zone store concept, AutoXpress was responding to today’s global market trends where consumers expect and demand more than the mere act of purchasing but requiring a cohesive experience that is linked to their preferred brand.

“The transformation from act to experience is now an essential tool for all retailers, leading to the retention of brand loyalty and the maintenance of customer relationships,” he said.

The Dunlop Zone AutoXpress fitment centre is the 17th branch in a network that spans across Kenya and Rwanda.
