Innovative green mobile that wears like a bracelet

With multi-national South Korean firms leading the way in design and advanced technology recently, there’s no doubt that South Koreans have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the tech world.

The latest innovative design and technology solution out ofSouth Koreais The Leaf, a wearable bracelet phone that incorporates solar cells.  Designed by Seungkyun Woo and Junyi Heo, the main objective of the basic phone that only can call and message, is to remind people that they can contribute to energy efficiency.

With solar cells on the phone and also on the dock for charging, searching for an electrical socket to charge your phone will not be an issue anymore.  For gloomy days during the rainy season, The Leaf is also equipped to charge via electricity.

What really makes The Leaf an interesting product is its wearability as a bracelet.  No more dropping your mobile in the toilet or getting it snatched out of your hands.  The keypad is designed in an organic layout like the spaces marked by the veins of leaf.
