Kenya CompuLynx now ISO certified

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 5 – CompuLynx, a leading local Integrated Information Technology solutions provider has joined the highly acclaimed International Standards Organisation (ISO) quality management systems certified firms in Kenya.

Following a rigorous quality management systems audit undertaken by Bureau Veritas, CompuLynx has been formally certified as an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.

Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 9000 family of standards represents an internationally recognized protocol for quality management. The ISO 9001:2008 standard focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction and establishing products’ compliance with the requirements of users and regulatory groups.

By attaining such a quality management system certification, CompuLynx has moved to further enhance its market reputation as a quality focused organization on all its operational and related fronts through an internationally benchmarked avenue.

Speaking when he confirmed the firm’s feat, CompuLynx CEO Sailesh Savani said the certification will now facilitate the firm’s growth within an independently audited quality management system.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification is particularly essential as leading firms such as Nakumatt Holdings, Ukwala Supermarkets, Armed Forces Canteen Organization (AFCO), Eastmatt Supermarkets, Naivas Supermarkets, Woolmatt Supermarkets, Innscor Africa Ltd, AAR, APA, Barclays Bank of Kenya, KCB and Equity Bank, are powered by CompuLynx developed solutions.

Other organizations powered by CompuLynx include De la Rue, Kenyatta University, JKUAT, KCA University, United States International University-Africa, Moi University, Twiga Stationers, Blowplast Ltd, Hypermart Ltd, Premier Foods Ltd, Prime Bank, Lightways Mombasa, MURATA Sacco and TAIFA Sacco.

“At CompuLynx, our strategic growth plan behooves us to maintain and ensure world-class quality management systems and our ISO 9001 certification is a clear testimony that we are up to the task,” Mr Savani explained.

“The certification also commits us to ensure that we do not rest on our laurels as we shall be periodically audited to ascertain our systems credibility through a continuous improvement programme.”
