NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 5 – Simba Colt Motors and NIC Bank have unveiled a new product targeting small and medium enterprises, corporates and individual motorists seeking to purchase commercial vehicles.
In the new sales package, customers wishing to purchase a Mitsubishi FH 215 truck will now enjoy a zero deposit offer with repayments starting from a rate of Sh75,500 per month.
With the new package, available at all Simba Colt Motors branches and dealer network across the country, entrepreneurs wishing to purchase a Mitsubishi FH 215 truck will also enjoy body building and insurance premium financing facilities with NIC Bank.
Simba Colt Motors Group CEO Adil Popat said the joint offer is geared at facilitating economic growth for local SMEs and upcoming businessmen.
Alongside the direct sales package, Mr Popat explained that Simba Colt Motors has also enhanced its fleet leasing product which is specifically targeted at the corporate market segment amongst other large fleet owners.

The Mitsubishi FH 215 remains popular in Kenya, commanding a nearly 70 percent market share of the 7-10 ton Gross Vehicle Weight medium duty trucks market segment.
As a product of the world renowned Japan based Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Company (MFTBC) which is an integral part of the Daimler Trucks Division of Germany\’s Daimler AG, the success of the vehicle model has been attributed to its superior engineering and extensive tropicalisation to meet local road and operational conditions.
Under the supervision of MFTBC and Simba Colt Motors, the Mitsubishi FH 215 is one of the premium products assembled at the Mombasa-based Associated Vehicle Assemblers (AVA) plant.

Mitsubishi commercial vehicle models available at Simba Colt Motors branches in Nairobi and Mombasa and across its dealer network countrywide include Mitsubishi L200 pickups, Mitsubishi FE 515, 635 and 629 Canters.
