Double rewards for Nakumatt shoppers

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 18 – Supermarket chain Nakumatt Holdings has announced a range of festive season benefits for its customers headlined by a double reward point’s promotion valued at more than Sh25million.

In the run up to this years Christmas and New Year festivities, all Nakumatt Smart cardholders will enjoy double points reward for their purchases and all non 24-hour branches will now remain open untill late.

Alongside the double rewards programme, Nakumatt Holdings has also for the festive season jointly reached an agreement with the Prestige Plaza property developer to waive parking fee charges at Prestige Plaza mall that houses Nakumatt Ngong Road 24-hour service hyper branch.

Speaking when he launched the Nakumatt Christmas Rewards programme, Nakumatt Holdings Managing Director Atul Shah said the firm had opted to offer a unique customer reward programme for all their all loyal shoppers without the hassle and inconvenience of raffles.

“This festive season, every Smart Card shopper will automatically be a winner in the ongoing double rewards programme which offers redeemable points which are as good as cash,” Mr Shah said.

Across the continent, the Nakumatt Smart Card is regarded as the trail blazer for retail chains loyalty card services and is the most successful and rewarding loyalty program in Africa.

In the three East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, the Nakumatt Smart Card features a membership list of more than 420,000 loyal shoppers.

Among other benefits, the Nakumatt Smart Card affords Nakumatt shoppers; goods for value against points i.e. purchase of products using points, redemption of points for cash i.e. School fees cheques, redemption of points for Gift Cards/Vouchers, discounts on goods and services with different partners such as: FoneXpress, Books First, Sherlock’s Den, Swiss International Air lines among others.
