NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 18 – Mwamba Rugby Club has entered into a one year deal with luxury coach company Modern Coast to become the Club’s official transport partner.

Through the partnership, Modern Coast has sponsored the club financially as well as provide a branded coach to transport the club during local tournaments and league matches.

Mwamba Rugby Club honorary president, Alvas Onguru described the new partnership as timely to the club, revealing the deal would go a long way in cutting their cost for transport.

“This strategic deal demonstrates Modern Coast’s commitment to supporting local sports and specifically the rugby game. On behalf of Mwamba Rugby, I would like to welcome them to the rugby family and Kulabu (Mwamba),” Onguru stated.

Modern Coast PR and communications Manager, Jervis Sundays said, “We are delighted with our partnership with Mwamba RFC, as a leader in the transport industry it is very exciting to be partnering with one of the best sports teams in our region. Our company has grown and with that we believe it is vital to develop and interact with different sectors including our own homegrown Mwamba RFC.”

“The idea of giving back to our community is important to us and we have been working passionately to reach this goal. Supporting local talent is a fantastic way for our country to reach greater heights.”
