MANCHESTER, February 3rd – Pep Guardiola’s arrival at Manchester City at the end of the season is likely to spell the end of Yaya Toure at the club, according to the player’s agent.

The Ivory Coast midfielder played under Guardiola at Barcelona, but he joined City in 2010 for a fee of £24million after he failed to maintain a regular place in the Spanish giants’ starting XI with the manager preferring Sergio Busquets.

Since then Toure has made more than 250 appearances for City, winning two Premier League titles as well as the FA Cup and League Cup.

However, his agent Dimitry Seluk has revealed he could leave the Etihad at the end of this campaign as current Bayern Munich boss Guardiola will take over as manager from Manuel Pellegrini in the summer.

“I think Yaya will leave the club. But before leaving I hope he will win again the League and all the cups,” he told SunSport.

“It’s not a question of whether Pep likes him or not. It’s life, you know. Pep can call Yaya and speak to him to let him know ‘I’m with you’ or ‘I am not with you’.”
