LONDON, December 3- Alberto Moreno’s agent admits the Liverpool left-back would find it “difficult” to turn down an offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Spain international has been linked with a return to his homeland at Madrid, where a raft of injuries in recent weeks has left manager Rafael Benitez without the services of Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal.
Moreno is a regular starter for new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, having initially struggled for game-time under the German’s predecessor, Brendan Rodgers earlier this season.
The Sevilla youth product’s advisor, Javier Moya, claims he would be “happy” if Los Blancos made contact, after revealing there had been enquiries from clubs in La Liga and elsewhere in Europe.
Moya told Radio 4G: “If Real Madrid were to make an offer that would make him really happy. But Liverpool would have to take the first step.
“If a team as important as Real Madrid were to speak with us and Liverpool were satisfied with the operation, we would talk.
“He’s getting to know another culture and playing in one of the most important leagues. And, above all, he’s in the first team.
“Inquiring about an important player is logical, that is normal. Important teams from Spain and other places are asking. It’s difficult.
“Everyone knows the importance of Real Madrid but Liverpool have five European Cups.”
