MANCHESTER, October 28-Manchester United could be without captain Wayne Rooney for Sunday’s Manchester derby due to a foot injury.
The England international has missed United’s last three matches due to suspension, but was expected to return to action against Manchester City this week.
However, according to the Daily Telegraph this may not be the case, with the 29-year-old having reportedly picked up an injury in training.
Despite the absence of Rooney, the Red Devils were able to hold league leaders Chelsea to a 1-1 draw last Sunday.
