LONDON, England, February 25- Bayern Munich honorary president Franz Beckenbauer says midfielder Toni Kroos will not be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer the Germany international £250, 000 per week in an attempt to lure him to Old Trafford.
The Bayern man is contracted to the Bundesliga outfit until the end of the 2014/15 season and Beckenbauer has stated in no uncertain terms that he will not be leaving the Bavarians before his contract expires.
“Toni has a contract until the summer of 2015 and he will not be going anywhere before then,” he told Bild.
“And we are determined to make sure he will stay at Bayern beyond the expiry date of his current deal.
“We really value Toni and have shown so more than once,” he added.
Beckenbauer has also warned the 24-year-old not to “overplay has hand” as even though he is an exceptional asset, he can be replaced.
“Nobody’s indispensable. If the player wants to stay at Bayern, I can only advise him not to overplay his hand,” said Beckenbauer.
“You have to make a decision as a club when someone’s demands are going through the roof. There is not a single player who’s worth changing your entire wage structure for.”
