LONDON, England, January 31- Victor Wanyama has revealed he could leave Celtic in the summer, but the Manchester United target insists he will finish the season in Scotland.
The 21-year-old’s impressive form has significantly contributed to Celtic’s run to the Champions League knockout stages and attracted the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Any moves to sign the Harambee Stars midfielder before the January transfer deadline closes, however, are highly unlikely to succeed.
“I can confirm to you that I will be at Celtic,” Wanyama told the Daily Record.
“We are playing well and our Champions League dream is on right now, so I am looking forward to the big game against Juventus.
“A lot has been said about my intended move but I have not given it much thought and even my manager feels I should play until the end of the season for Celtic.
‘Then, from that point, the doors can be open for a move.’

The long-serving Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs could both be set to retire in the summer, meaning one of Ferguson’s greatest priority is likely to be a quality central midfielder.
