NAIROBI, Kenya, December 19- Kenya has slipped down four places to position 134 in the latest Coca-Cola Fifa World Rankings released Wednesday with World and European champions Spain ending the year top of the global charts.
Harambee Stars rating slipped following their Fifa international friendly defeat to Tanzania last month coupled with their first leg Africa Home Nations Championships (CHAN) first leg reverse in Bujumbura last Sunday.
The country is listed 39th in Africa in the ranking where Ivory Coast leads the continent in position 14 globally.
Stars resumed training for their second leg CHAN fixture on January 5 on Wednesday afternoon under James Nandwa who was elevated to the coaching role after Frenchman Henri Michel quit the post.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) insist there are yet to receive communication from the World Cup veteran who was hired in September after communicating his exit via the French Embassy on Monday.
The latest rankings show that Brazil have slumped five places to an all-time low 18th in the latest rankings as they struggle to regroup under new manager Felipe Scolari.
