Bulls gorge the Heat

CHICAGO, February 25- Derrick Rose scored 26 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 93-89 win over Miami Thursday, handing the Heat just their second loss in the last 13 National Basketball Association games.

Luol Deng finished with 20 points, nailing a game-winning three-point shot with just 16 seconds left for the Bulls who led by nine points at halftime.

In the fourth, Chicago compiled another nine-point lead but then allowed the Heat to go ahead by four in a wild back and forth contest at the United Center arena.

Deng’s three-point dagger shattered an 89-89 tie and allowed the Bulls to win their fifth contest in the last six and 16th in the past 21 games.

Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 34 points and LeBron James added 29 in the loss.

Rose, who is a strong candidate for the league MVP award this year, also had a half dozen assists and five rebounds.

Kyle Korver hit one of two shots from the free-throw line with nine seconds left to ice the victory.

James finished 12 off 21 from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds. Chris Bosh, the other member of Miami’s dynamic trio, had a poor shooting night, making just one of 18 shots
