NAIROBI, Kenya, October 18 – Chemelil Sugar gave their battle against relegation a massive boost with a 2-0 win over AFC Leopards on Monday at Nyayo Stadium.
Willis Ouma opened the scoring for Chemelil a quarter of an hour into the match with Keegan Ngugi sealing the deal in the 59th minute.
The match was played behind closed doors imposed on the home side AFC who were banned from playing in front of their fans for two matches following disturbances in their previous fixture against Sofapaka.
The result was the last thing ‘Ingwe’ needed ahead of Saturday’s much anticipated encounter against arch rivals Gor Mahia.
