CURITIBA, May 24- Brazil are to play friendly matches against Tanzania and Zimbabwe before heading into the World Cup tournament in South Africa, Brazilian football officials said Monday.The games are to be announced formally later on, when all the required documents have been sent by the respective football federations, the sources in the Brazilian Football Confederation said.
The friendlies, they said, will take place on June 2 and 7 – ahead of Brazil’s first World Cup match on June 15 against North Korea.
Brazil is currently trainining in the southern Brazilian city of Curitiba and is to leave for South Africa on Wednesday.
