DETROIT, March 17- NBA scoring leader LeBron James scored 29 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and added 12 assists to spark the league-leading Cleveland Cavaliers past Detroit 113-101 on Tuesday.James, who managed his 28th career "triple-double", blocked a shot and followed with a basket and added a 3-pointer with 29 seconds remaining to seal Cleveland’s 53rd victory of the season against only 15 defeats.
The Cavaliers won their fourth game in a row and 10th in their past 11 starts while the Pistons, 23-45, lost their third in a row and eighth in 10 games.
James, who averages 29.9 points a game, took command in the fourth quarter by sinking 5-of-7 shots and adding four assists and three rebounds to achieve in fourth "triple double of the season after hitting only 5-of-15 shots in the first three quarters.
Mo Williams added 20 points and Antawn Jamison contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers while Richard Hamilton had 24 points to lead six double-figure Pistons scorers.C
