Sofapaka edge closer

NAIROBI, Kenya, September 21- With six rounds remaining in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) Sofapaka have all the looks of a side cruising towards their maiden top flight football title.

Red Berets who are aslo in danger of suffering the drop salvaged some hope with a 2-1 victory over Sher Karuturi in Naivasha and remain in 13 position.

Gor Mahia remain fifth with 34 points after losing 2-1 to SonY Sugar at Awendo.

K’ogalo’s loss eased the pressure of Thika United who remain fourth with 38 after a scoreless draw with Chemelil Sugar.
