Guess Who’s Been Killed Off In Family Guy!

It’s indeed a sad day for Family Guy fans!

American sitcom character Brian Griffin has been axed off the popular TV satire Family Guy.

In last night’s episode titled ‘Life of Brian’ which aired in the US, it turns out that Brian voiced by Seth Macfarlane was hit and killed by a car.

The comic canine bought many laughs to our screens during his Family Guy tenure and will be sadly missed.

Brian will be replaced by a new pooch called Vinnie who will be voiced by former Soprano’s star Tony Sirico.

Now the show’s co-stars Mila Kunis and Seth Green were “pretty stunned” by Brian’s exit, but executive producer Steve Callaghan said he did not fear a backlash from fans.

Callaghan was quoted by saying, “Our fans are smart enough and have been loyal to our show for long enough to know that they can trust us, we always make choices that always work to the greatest benefit of the series.”

As much as we love Brian, and as much as everyone loves their pets, we felt it would be more traumatic to lose one of the kids, rather than the family pet.” Callaghan added.

An air date for the episode will be shown on pan African pay channel Zuku via the Fox channel come next year!
