NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 4 – Three suspected thugs were Sunday night shot dead in a botched robbery in Dandora area, Nairobi.
According to police, the men were part of a gang that had been attacking and robbing residents at about 9 pm when they were alerted.
Police said the gang was riding on a motorbike and had a machete and pistol that were recovered from them.
A fourth suspect managed to escape on foot and no arrest has been made so far.
Police say they have increased patrols in the city to address cases of armed and violent robberies in general.
