NAIROBI, Kenya, July 11 – A pedestrian has died following a Tuesday morning accident on Valley Road, Nairobi.
According to police, the woman was crossing the road under a footbridge when a speeding car hit and killed her on the spot.
The accident caused a huge traffic snarl-up before police arrived to clear it.
Police are cautioning the public to use the footbridge to avoid such accidents.
In the meantime, police are investigating an incident in which a worker collapsed and died at the National Archives in the city.
The employee was on duty when he suddenly collapsed and died Monday evening.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at a city clinic.
