NASA has demanded a dry run of the electronic voter ID system (EVID) be conducted/FILE
NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 1 – The Independent Electoral and Bounaries Commission has defended the integrity of the voters register against the Opposition’s accusation that it is seriously flawed.
The Commission has denied the National Super Alliance’s claim that it has suspended its SMS voter verification portal on account of dead voters’ details still being confirmed as well as those of invalid ID entries such as 0, 003 and 006.
It has also described as redundant the Opposition demand that the KPMG audit report on the register be made public as it was presented to Parliament, with an abridged version available online.
