NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 6 – The doctors union will Thursday morning sign Recognition Agreements and Collective Bargaining Agreements with county governments.

Council of Governors Chairman Josephat Nanok, the Kenya Medication Practitioners and Pharmacists Union and representatives from the 47 counties will also be present to witness and sign the documents.

Last month, doctors signed the much anticipated Collective Bargaining Agreement with the National Government whose matter led to a protracted strike that went on for over three months.

The CBA sought to improve basic pay and other allowances and follows the return to work formula which ended their 100-day strike.
