NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 12 – A Mombasa court has given Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko a further 14 days to either produce Mombasa Republican Council Chairman Omar Mwamnuadzi or face six months in prison if unable to pay a Sh1 million fine.
Senior Principal Magistrate Francis Kyiambia said Sonko must produce Mwamnuadzi for whom he acted as surety.
The court had summoned the Senator, who stood surety for Mwamnuadzi, to explain his whereabouts having already been given four months to produce Mwamnuadzi before the court.
