KERICHO, Kenya, Jun 15 – President Uhuru Kenyatta will tomorrow, Thursday 15th June 2017, take the Jubilee Party campaigns to Kericho County.

The President and Deputy President William Ruto will use the tour to mobilise the party’s support base to be ready to turnout in large numbers for the August election.

They will start their tour of the County at Kipsitet where they will address residents before proceeding to Fort Tennan, Londiani, Chepseon and then Kericho Town.

President Kenyatta and his deputy, who will be accompanied by other Jubilee leaders, will later make stops, to meet and address supporters at Kapsoit, Sosion, Sigowet, Roret, Cheborge and Litein. They will wrap up the tour with a rally at Kapkatet.

The National Super Alliance (NASA) will in the meantime resume campaigns after a short break with rallies in Kajiado.

Before the rallies, the Opposition is expected to hold a news conference in Nairobi where the simmering row over the printing of ballot papers is expected to feature.

NASA is opposed to the award of the tender to Al Ghurair printing firm of Dubai, with a latest explosive dossier claiming that the award was influenced by State House insiders in collusion with top IEBC officials.
