Man, 43, found dead at his house in Hurlingham

NAIROBI, Kenya, May 8 – Detectives in Nairobi have launched investigations into the death of a 43-year-old man believed to have committed suicide in his house in Hurlingham.

The man, whose body was found in the toilet Sunday night, is believed to have committed suicide by swallowing poison.

Police say they found a bottle believed to have contained the poisonous substance next to his body.

Cases of people committing suicide are on the increase in Nairobi lately, with up to four cases reported last week, according to police statistics.

The body was taken to the City Mortuary.
