Opposition boardroom deals mockery of democracy – Uhuru

The road is a vital link to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, world famous for being home to the annual spectacle of the migration of wildebeests from and to Serengeti.

The government is also funding the construction of Ololunga Mukenyo – RWC road at a cost of Sh720 million.

The construction of the roads in the county are part of the Jubilee Administration’s massive infrastructure improvement projects that has already seen the completion of the construction of 7000 kilometers of roads in the country.

President Kenyatta also commissioned medical equipment worth Sh430 million at the Narok County Referral Hospital. The equipment, supplied through the Managed Equipment Services (MES) project, included theatre equipment, sterilization and surgical sets, digital imaging equipment and five dialysis machines.

Earlier in the day, President Kenyatta commissioned another batch of equipment worth Sh380 million at the Transmara County Hospital.

The Managed Equipment Services is an initiative by the National Government to equip at least two hospitals in each county with modern equipment as part of the Jubilee Government’s plan to modernize health services.

Narok County leaders who spoke at the event said the opposition was spreading falsehoods about the government and how it relates with the people of the region.

Governor Tunai said the Jubilee Administration has appointed more Maasai’s to senior positions that at any other administration.

He said the people of the region appreciate the upgrade of road networks the Government has embarked on.

The government is spending a massive Sh12 billion to construct roads in Narok County alone.
