Chaos at City Hall as county workers clash

NAIROBI, Kenya Mar 7 – Chaos erupted at City Hall this morning when workers at the County Assembly and County Government clashed over the use of some offices.

Police were forced to use tear gas and fire live bullets to restore calm.

Officials say County Assembly workers were resisting orders to be moved from offices they had been occupying to others.

Several glass doors and windows were damaged during the Friday morning confrontation.
