NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 28 – Emmanuel Mwagoah, the petitioner seeking Auditor General Edward Ouko’s removal from office, on Tuesday honoured an invitation to appear before the National Assembly’s finance committee in person.
Mwagoah had initially expressed reservations about appearing in person citing threats to his life.
The committee last week however ruled that he should prosecute his petition for Ouko’s removal in person.

When he appeared before the committee on Tuesday, Mwagoah sought to show why Ouko should cease to serve as Auditor General.
The Auditor General himself, accompanied by his lawyer Otiende Amollo were present for Mwagoah’s presentation.
