NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 22 – An Administration Police officer shot dead his colleague on Tuesday night, injured another one before killing himself in Embakasi’s Tassia area, within Nairobi County.
The three officers were together in a bar, where a heated argument occurred before Constable Patrick Kihagi turned his gun on his colleagues.
The officer who was killed was attached to the Embakasi Police Station.
They were watching a football match between Manchester City and Monaco.
Constable Dominic Ngetich, who is attached to the JKIA Police Station escaped on foot after sustaining an injury in the shoulder and walked to a clinic where he sought medical care.
Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome says “We don’t know what transpired to lead to the fatal shooting incident.”
