2017 KENYA ELECTIONS

Oloo overrating himself, he has no secrets worth telling – Sakaja

He described Oloo’s actions as those of a traitor and stressed that “he should not be trusted by Kenyans who believe in the truth.”

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 23 – Nominated Member of Parliament Johnson Sakaja says President Uhuru Kenyatta won the 2013 General Election fair and square and dismissed claims of rigging by former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo.

According to Sakaja, President Kenyatta’s victory was undisputed and the only challenge was dismissed by the Supreme Court.

Sakaja stated that Oloo was misrepresenting his role in President Kenyatta’s campaign team, saying that he was only in charge of the party’s administrative activities.

“We sold our campaign and a manifesto that Kenyans came to accept. We then went into the election where the President was the clear winner, a fact that was confirmed by the Supreme Court,” he said.

He described Oloo’s actions as those of a traitor and stressed that “he should not be trusted by Kenyans who believe in the truth.”

Oloo, who has since moved to ODM, has claimed that President Kenyatta’s victory came through underhand tactics that included rigging.
