Governor Mutua to meet aspirants from Central Kenya

NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 15 – Maendeleo Chap Chap leader and Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua will tomorrow host aspirants from Central Kenya in a bid to popularise the party.

Mutua said the party had received aspirants from across the country and who will vie for various political seats.

He said the Central Kenya aspirants will meet at the party head quarters in Lavington, Nairobi.

“We will comb every corner of this great nation and popularise our party and which strives to end poverty and injustice in society, “said Mutua.

The aspirants are expected from among others, Embu, Murang’a, Nakuru, Nyeri, Kiambu, Laikipia, Nyandarua, Tharaka Nithi, Meru and Kirinyaga counties.

Mutua who spoke at his Machakos office Thursday said his party will not field a presidential candidate in the 2017 polls.

He said that the party will however sponsor candidates in all other elective seats.

Mutua said the party will host aspirants from other regions across the country adding that he has visited over 15 counties to popularise the party’s ideologies.
