Former nominated MP Mark Too is dead

, NAIROBI, Kenya, Dec 31 – Former nominated Member of Parliament Mark Too is dead.

Too died after a short illness at St Luke’s hospital in Eldoret on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking on behalf of the family, the deceased’s brother Clement Kiptoo said he had been admitted at the facility for three days after falling ill.

His physician Dr Ahmed Faraj who was accompanied by Too’s spouse and Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi also confirmed the death.

Sudi said that he has lost a good friend and political supporter who has been a shoulder to lean on during the challenges in his constituency.

Too served as an assistant minister in retired President Daniel arap Moi’s government.
