, NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 4 -A section of Members of Parliament who defected to the Jubilee Party on Friday remained defiant despite their respective former parties initiating disciplinary measures.

Led by MP Gideon Mung’aro and his Kilome counterpart Regina Ndambuki, they attended the Jubilee Party’s National Governing Council.

Also present was Kwale County women representative Zainab Chidzuga who highly praised the President and his Deputy’s leadership.

“We are here for a reason,” she said.

She expressed optimism that she clinches back his seat under the Jubilee Party.
