NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 18 – State House is on Tuesday morning expected to host a governance and accountability summit to highlight achievements made in the war against corruption in the last four years.

The summit will be attended by top officials from all Arms of Government as well as the harshest critics of the government on governance.

It will be a forum for the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to explain to Kenyans what it has done to fight corruption in the wake of accusations that it is only targeting lowly ranked government officials -including junior police officers.

Among the agencies that will attend the forum include the Presidency and Executive, the Judiciary, Parliament, AG’s office, DPP and other independent commissions and agencies.

Every agency will be expected to explain to Kenyans what it has done to tackle the subject of corruption wherever it may be.
